Put More Spine Into Your Bodywork!

Sharon Porter will do a day of work to strengthen and increase flexibility of the spine. This work arises from her studies with Dr. Stone, her extensive yoga and exercise physiology background, and decades of successful spine work with clients locked up by: aging/stiffness/rigidity, scoliosis, weak abs support and general lack of flow. Enhances your cranial work because if frees up the passageways that allow free flow of cranial fluids. People who receive this work say, "I had no idea I could ever feel this open and supple - I feel young, got my hope and humor back! Now I can tackle anything!"

The 8 hours includes:

* Sacral Rocking from squat and child's pose
(Dr. Stone said these are safest for the spine)
* Double S curves on spinal lamina
* Freeing each articulation down the spine
* Big circular motions with seated client that stabilize the pelvis while carefully stretching the entire spine
* Axial North Pole Stretches from sitting
* Tracking the spinal tubes down to the sacrum through supine traction
* Deep work on foot arches to open spine from the negative pole
* Polarity and Hatha Yoga to even out the muscles that are pulling the spine out of shape, that cause sciatica, etc.
* Scalp massage to open the cranial system from the top
* Side stretch on table holding hand and foot

Notes: This work is for clients who have a fairly healthy spine. Some of what I'll teach is not appropriate for serious disc problems and post op fusions, but other parts will be fine for even the seriously injured. If your back is fragile, you’re welcome to sit out anything that doesn’t feel safe for you.

Much of what I'll be teaching is very active work that will increase the practitioner's strength and flexibility as you do it on more and more clients. This work is a real practice builder, a series that clients enjoy receiving several times a year! Don't miss it, whether you are an experienced bodyworker or are just entering the body-mind arena!

Bring: Bodywork table if you have it, pillow/bolster, yoga mat or blanket for work on the floor, unrestricted cotton/stretch clothing that is easy to work through.

Toe Reading is based on the theory that your body holographically records the story of your life. The position and shape of the toes say a lot about their owner. By observing someone's toes you will know a great deal about their past and the experiences they have lived through. Toes reveal how a person copes with their feelings, as well as their thoughts. It has now been documented that everything that happens in your life, the story and the emotions, are stored as cell memory. There is more going on in the world, and specifically YOUR world, than meets the eye. And, it may just be your toes that reveal the most.
Toe Reading can certainly be a fun and entertaining parlor game. In fact, people will accuse you of being psychic you can become so accurate. However, the true gift of learning the art of Toe Reading is to learning a way to create deep insight into your own life or the lives of others by understanding that the toes and sole of the foot are a hologram for everything that has happened in one’s life. Major traumas, dramas, personality tendencies and destiny factors are stored in the toes. With the intention to be an instrument in the peace and healing of another you can transcend the physical observations and quite literally learn to read a person’s soul prints by acknowledging their sole’s recordings.

Day 1 - Level 1 is about an Introduction the Toe Elements and their meaning. You will do three basic Toe Readings in class.

Day 2 -Deep understanding of the Toe Elements and their metaphysical significant is the focus of this second day of class. The Toe Readings will deepen and the small nuances will become significant awareness’s in honoring the stories buried deep within the sole/soul. The use of soul coaching questions will be introduced. Marketing yourself as a Registered Toe Reader Level 1 will be covered and encouraged. The skill of reading toe from photographs and emails will be introduced. Two full Toe Readings will be done in class.

KC Miller has been a reflexologist and teacher for over thirty years. Her personal life mission is to "Touch Lives, Heal Bodies and Free Souls." This workshop is designed for anyone who is in the healing arts who practices energy or hands on healing and each person will work on a horse.

This workshop will greatly enhance your skills as an energy practitioner. Horses are sensitive to everything in their environment, being prey animals it's essential for them to be tuned in to everything so they will survive the predator.

As an energy practitioner, we want to be tuned into our client, respiratory, nervous systems, body language, sounds etc. Horses show us how to do that in a neutral way.

Horses respond to pressure, physical, emotional and mental. If a practitioners intention is to heal the horse that intention will translate to mental pressure and shut the horse down. If the practitioners intention is to listen to the horse and hold space for the horse so that healing can occur, the horse will be receptive to this intention as there is no mental pressure being applied. Being herd animals horses want to be in a group. They easily fall into resonance with the rest of the herd. When working on a horse, the horse will be open to finding the resonance with you, although if it doesn't feel safe the horse will want to move away. If we are off center in our energy the horse will feel this and will want to leave.Horses can teach us how to be authentic and clean with our energy. Reiki Workshop Level One
Reiki is a Japanese healing art transmitted energetically through your
hands, feet, breath and eyes. Developed by Dr Mikao Usui a century ago in Japan. Reiki is passed onto practitioners through an attunement ceremony.
In this workshop you will receive a Level One Reiki attunement, and certificate. You will be taught how to use Reiki on yourself, others and animals. Reiki's energy is gentle and nurturing, it works for the highest good of all things and can benefit us and others in all areas of our lives.

Reiki Workshop Level Two
In this Reiki Level Two workshop, you will receive a Level Two attunement. Reiki Level Two enables you to use the Reiki symbols to amplify your Reiki practice and enable you to do long distance healing. Pre-requisite for this workshop is that you have completed Level One and have done twenty one days of consistent Reiki practice on yourself. Reiki Level Two certificate given upon completion.

Sara Vaughan is an Usui Reiki Master
and has found Reiki to be extremely valuable in her life, not only promoting self growth but as a tool to help her dogs and horses when they are out of balance due to injury or illness*. Reiki is used alongside western medicine and can be integrated into any other healing modality, i.e. polarity therapy and craniosacral unwinding.
